Seriously, I think I have it!With tonight's two-hour finale looming, I'm expecting nothing less than brilliance from the final chapter of Battlestar Galactica. I definitely showed up late to the party, but pushing through the entire series over these last several months was time well spent. Those who followed the final survivors of man trying to find a new home while staving off those man-made robots known as Cylons were rewarded with the best balance between science fiction, drama and action.
And tonight we will know what becomes of the colonial fleet, lead by our beloved Old Girl, Battlestar Galactica itself. How will they fair against the final battle between themselves and the defiant Cylons? Will they ever find a home after losing their faith in Earth, which they discovered to be nuclear wasteland? Will we find out the purpose of the Opera House visions? Why All Along The Watchtower? And will Lee Adama matter again?
I have a feeling that most, if not all, will be revealed. AND I think I know how it all ends. Potential SPOILER in three...two...one...
I think the fleet will face the big battle against the renegade Cylons near their "home base" that also happens to conveniently be on top of a wormhole. I believe that wormhole will suck in the entire fleet, maybe even the Cylons, and take them to the Earth that Kara "Starbuck" Thrace initially encountered (if you'll recall, she mentioned that the Earth she saw was amazing and she knew how to get them there). Of course, we all know that when the fleet finally found Earth, it was a like a scene out of WALL-E. And we discovered that Kara was technically dead.

But I think the fleet will discover Starbuck's alternate Earth. The trick is that they will be dead. I think Earth will be like "the promised land," where they find peace and happiness and everyone "lives." And why do I think this? Because Starbuck was called out over and over again as being the Harbinger of Death. And that's exactly what she is!
I know, I know, it's an out-there theory, but I seriously wouldn't put it past BSG to run with it. OR, I'm WAAAY off and this theory is garbage. Either way, I say the show goes out with several BANGS and its fair share of heartbreak. So Say We All!
I miss it already...

Good theory, D! I HOPE they don't all die! But it's still a cool theory.
more questions:
Where's Leobin??? Will Adama have yet ANOTHER fit of grief over his dying girl? And will Baltar's harem EVER mean anything, or could they have cut that whole subplot from the show and we'd have been none the wiser...
