Celebrity icon Farrah Fawcett died today at the age of 62, according to reports.Fawcett long battled anal cancer, recently documenting her struggle to overcome her condition in the emotional NBC special "Farrah's Story."
Fawcett blew onto the scene in the 1970s, as a sexy pin-up and one third of the mega-successful Charlie's Angels. Her 25-year love affair with actor Ryan O'Neal also made headlines, following their ups and downs. But O'Neal proved to be her rock in the NBC documentary also noted for depicting their real life love story.
Sadly, in one a recent 20/20 interview, O'Neal admitted that he finally proposed to his love in her final days, saying “We will, just as soon as she can say yes.”
